About World Passport Ranking

This ranking is updated from time to time by British consulting firm Henry & Partners based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

 

For passports from 199 countries around the world, check the destinations you can enter without a visa or with an arrival visa system, and use that number as the score for each country.

 

The latest 2022 ranking was announced on January 12, 2022.

Japan is the third largest country in the world in terms of GDP, and the fact that Japanese people are considered to have low security risks from overseas as well.
