Hello, it's Hiro.
I would like to introduce the furniture purchase online shopping web site & shop that I used frequently when I was US expatriate for 3 years.
I hope it will be helpful to those who are in the same situation as me and those who are not.
By the way, I was like..
・Late 20s
・single
・Unusually furniture nerd
like that Lol.
Furniture purchase online shopping web site
・GDF Studio
Outlet furniture store in California, USA.
You can buy trendy furniture at a more affordable price than going to the store.
I lived on the east coast (North Carolina) and it was quick to ship within a few days of ordering.
・Floyd
A furniture store based in Detroit, Michigan.
When I was looking for a bed, other expatriates bought it at IKEA,
I didn't really like the bed, so I fell in love with Floyd's bed (the same type as the one in the photo) and bought it.
Currently, only some products can be purchased from Floyd Japan.
・Kirklands
A long-established country style miscellaneous goods store that has stores all over the United States.
There are also some cute furniture.
Headquartered in Tennessee, there are stores everywhere in the United States.
And it's unusually cheap for America, and they always doing some sort of sale.
If you like American miscellaneous goods, please go.
There were big clocks and wreaths all over the wall, and I went there once a week.
Kirklands are my favorite.
・IKEA
IKEA in Japan is big, but it's still America.
IKEA in the US is bigger than Japan.
Furniture is not much different from IKEA in Japan, so I think you can trust and buy it.
Extra edition
In North Carolina, it's called furniture of Disneyland,
Funitureland South, the largest furniture store in the United States, is at the high point.
It is divided into three buildings, and furniture is packed in the place of about 2.5 Tokyo Domes.
I was tired of walking and couldn't buy anything, but please visit the world's largest chest once.
Summary
Summary,
If you want to buy online, GDF Studio.
If you want to buy stylish furniture that minimalists like, Floyd.
If you want to buy American miscellaneous goods and cheap furniture in country style, Kirklands.
If you want to buy furniture similar to Japan, IKEA.
something like that.
After all, my favorite was Kirklands.
That's it.
