3 recommended sightseeing spots where you can easily go from the Mikawa region of Aichi prefecture

2021-05-16

Hello, it's Hiro.

Born in Aichi prefecture, I have moved to Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama, and the United States, but now I live in Hamamatsu city, Shizuoka prefecture.

So, I'm familiar with the Tokai region.

Therefore,I would like to introduce recommended sightseeing spots that can be easily reached from Aichi prefecture.

1. Lake Hamana, Bentenjima area (Bentenjima Seaside Park, etc)

You can easily reach Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture in about 20 minutes by car from Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture.

Hamamatsu City is famous for eels and musical instruments, but in fact, there are so many recommended sightseeing spots in Hamamatsu City.

I recommend the area around Lake Hamana and Bentenjima.

If you access by car from Aichi prefecture, you can go to Kosai city in Shizuoka prefecture by connecting along Route 23, but the sea that spreads at the moment of passing through the tunnel when going from Toyohashi city to Kosai city is very beautiful.

Around Lake Hamana, there are many places where you can fully enjoy nature, such as Bentenjima Park, resorts, and Kanzanji Onsen.

For shopping and dates, there are still many recommended spots such as Aeon Shitoro, Aeon Ichino, Warmth Forest, and Humpty Dumpty.

When you come to Hamamatsu City, I hope you will like Hamamatsu City by driving around Lake Hamana.

I love driving and use the highway more than the general public, but when I go from Aichi prefecture to Kanagawa prefecture, I often use national highway No. 1.

Depending on the time of day, you can access the Kanto area at a highway fee of 0 yen, which is not much different from when you use the expressway.

When using National Highway No. 1, there are various recommended spots for getting off the train, so I will introduce them in another article.

2. The islands of Himakajima, Shinojima, and Sakujima

Next, I recommend Himakajima, Shinoshima, and Sakujima, which are just a stone's throw away from our Minamichita town.

Access to Himakajima and Shinojima is by ferry, but there are two patterns using the ferry at Morozaki Port or Kouwa Port.

Access to Himakajima and Shinojima ... Use Kouwa Port or Morozaki Port

About 20 minutes by ferry from Kouwa Port to Himakajima

About 10 minutes by ferry from Morozaki Port to Himakajima
* If you take a ferry that is not a direct flight, it will take 20 minutes as it goes through Shinoshima.

Access to Saku Island ... Use Isshiki Port

About 20 minutes by ferry from Isshiki Port to Saku Island

※The capacity of 110 people may be full depending on the time of day, so I recommend that you come with plenty of time.

For those who come from afar by train, there is a free shuttle bus from Kowa Station, so I think you will use Kowa Port.

Those who have access to Oimachi and Morozaki will use the ferry at Morozaki Port.

I own a condo where I can reach Morozaki Port in 5 minutes by car, so when I feel like an island, I often go to Himakajima to eat seafood bowls.

Saku Island is also popular. Recently, there are many cafes and arts that look great on Instagram, so it is an image that many children in their teens to 20s come.

※Please note that access to Saku Island is limited to Isshiki Port in Nishio City.

3. Ise Jingu / Okage Yokocho

This is already a famous spot at the national level, isn't it? I especially like cute things, so I especially recommend the Snoopy Chaya in Okage Yokocho.

Not only Snoopy fans, but also those who are not, please stop by.

Speaking of Ise Jingu, Akafuku isn't it? Whenever I go to Ise Jingu, I always eat Akafuku Mochi and Akafuku Zenzai. Matcha is also delicious.

Also, when accessing Ise Jingu from Aichi prefecture, I recommend that you stop by the Gozaisho service area.

The Gozaisho service area has so many selected shops that it is in the top 3 of my recommended service areas.

Anyway, I recommend a place with a beautiful sea

Lake Hamana, Himakajima / Shinojima / Sakushima, Ise All the spots have in common that they are near the sea and the sea is very beautiful.

As a sea lover, when I go to these spots, I feel "I'm glad I was born in Aichi prefecture".

If you have a chance to come to the Tokai region, I would be grateful if you could stop by and like it.

Regards,

hiro
